Joanne Howson wins bronze medal certificate for Imagicakes of Heald Green with her entry into the decorative exhibit category. The design is based on a handbag by Bahamas-based artist Teri Monique.

The cake is sat on a 14" square board which has been iced and decorated to resemble a wooden floor.

The cake itself is carved from two 10"x8" rectangular sponge cakes.

The decoration was done using several different techniques including embossing, piping with royal icing and painting by hand with edible food colours.

The piece took a total of 18 hours to complete.
